Gamma Phi Beta

At the University of South Carolina, I was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Zeta Sigma chapter. During my four years as an active member, I was fortunate enough to hold multiple positions in our public relations department such as Blog Chairwoman, Assistant Banner Chairwoman, and Creative Assistant to Homecoming Chair.

More specifically, as Blog Chairwoman my responsibilities were managing and updating our sorority's website (which was made via WIX), and also included our own blog page. I would be constantly updating our website and feed, always including our major events (philanthropic, educational/school, social), recruitment, and our house. By collaborating with the public relations team, which included our PRVP, as well as our Executive Board and sorority members, I was truly able to showcase our sorority at USC.

As Assistant Banner Chairwoman, I would help our Banner Chairwoman in which we would create and display banners for every type of our sorority events and activities. Similarly, as Creative Assistant to Homecoming Chair I collaborated with our Homecoming Chair and Panhellenic Relations Vice President to design and create a theme and designs (like a banner) for our sorority and fraternity partners for the fall annual Homecoming Greek Week.

I was also a part of the Sisterhood Committee, which is under our education department, and run by our Education Vice President and Sisterhood Chairs, in which we planned events and activities for all of our members to help with strengthening our sisterhood and build stronger friendships. I created some graphics for these such things as well banners and etc. I am so fortunate enough to have been such an active member in my sorority and to have truly met so many amazing people that I am still so close with today.
